 MOVIES IN WILL'S BACKYARD

COME SEE ONE OF HOLLYWOOD'S BRIGHTEST STARS UNDER THE STARS!

Join us on Friday, August 15 at the Will Rogers State Historic Park for an outdoor screening of the 1935 Will Rogers comedy classic Life Begins at Forty. Bring your blanket (or low beach chair), a picnic, and friends and relax on the lawn at Will’s house for an evening of film fun!

Open to the public, the event begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes free popcorn and drinks. Parking will be $8.

ABOUT THE WILL ROGERS INSTITUTE

Will Rogers has long been famous for his roles in popular movies and films. We all remember his charismatic style and the way he seemed to embrace the characters he played.

More important than all of this is the role that he continues to play in the lives of thousands of people throughout the world. His legacy lives on through the Will Rogers Institute, that was founded soon after his tragic death in 1935.  The Institute is making strides every day in understanding, treating, and curing pulmonary diseases and disorders. WRI HELPS PRESERVE SARANAC LAKE HOSPITAL

Back in 1936 the Will Rogers Institute provided respite for tuberculosis-stricken entertainers at Saranac Lake Hospital in New York. The hospital became the Institute’s home for treating tuberculosis and other pulmonary diseases and was also a leading research facility and teaching hospital.
